The Bucket Trail

I'm enjoying following the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail. I have visited those in Broughty Ferry, four are pictured here, and I intend to get round as many as I can of the other Wullie’s in Dundee. There are fifty five sculptures of Oor Wullie sitting on his bucket. They are decorated by a variety of different artists and designers.

It is the biggest public art event to have been held  in the city. It runs from 27 June to 27 August and at the end of the event the statues will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Archie Foundation’s appeal for a new twin operating theatre pediatric surgical suite for Tayside Children’s Hospital.

More details about the bucket trail and how to donate to the Archie Foundation can be found on the following link: http://www.oorwulliebuckettrail.com/about/
