I have been advised that Dundee City Council propose to make
a temporary traffic order for the purpose of facilitating carriageway
resurfacing works in West Queen Street.
The Order is expected to be in force for 7 days from 9 May 2015.
The effect of the order
is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in West Queen Street at its
junction with Claypotts Road (Phase 1) and West Queen Street from Bayfield Road
to Claypotts Road (Phase 2).
Phase 1 is expected to last for 2 days, followed by Phase 2
for a further 5 days.
An alternative route will be available for Phase 1 via
Victoria Road, Ballinard Road, Balgillo Road, Forthill Road and Fort Street and
for Phase 2 via Victoria Road, Strathern Road and Claypotts Road.
